Pastor James Clayton Webb, 66, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord November 7, 2021 at Kettering Hospital. He was born October 30, 1955 in Springfield, the son of Clyde Crayton and Eileen Mildred (Waugh) Webb. James was a pastor at the Milford First Church of God, and he owned a small engine repair business. He enjoyed volunteering with Hospice. He loved sports, was a Tennessee Vols fan, loved classic cars, and enjoyed westerns, especially John Wayne westerns. Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Susan (McKenzie) Webb; children, Ian (Erica) Webb of Englewood, Olivia (Connor) McCormick of Tipp City, and Daniel (Alissa) Ashworth of Fairborn; grandchildren, Donna Grace Webb, Ethan Hendrix Webb, and Koda Clayton Webb; brother, William (Laura) Webb of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Webb-Shaw, and his parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
