James C. Sparks Obituary

      James C. Hayden Sparks “Sparky”, 73, of New Carlisle, passed away February 29, 2024, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born February 1, 1951, in Roswell, New Mexico, the son of James B. and Cora Lucille (Lewis) Sparks. Mr. Sparks was a member of the First Simply Church and the Enon Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, fast cars and working on cars, riding his Harley, being on his boat and being with his loving family. He was retired for Local #104 as a drywall specialist. Survivors include his beloved wife; Teresa A. (Dement) Sparks, two children; Shane (Danielle) Sparks and Jimmy David (Melissa) Sparks, stepdaughter; Kelli Burrowes, grandchildren; Lauren Threet and Hayden James Sparks Threet, numerous other grandchildren and siblings; Kenneth (Gay) Sparks, Delilah (Dave) Helton and David C. Sparks and many very special nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a daughter; Delilah Nicole Sparks, his wife; Teresa C. Sparks, a nephew; Kenny Wallace, his parents and many loving aunts and uncles. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Sparky’s life will be held in the First Simply Church, 595 North Medway-Carlisle Road, New Carlisle on March 16, 2024 beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastors Dennis Leach and Ronnie Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
