James “Jim” Walter Farley, 68, of Springfield, passed away June 7, 2026. He was born December 19, 1957, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Walter and Louise (Oswald) Farley. Mr. Farley had attended St. Raphael Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and working on automobiles. He had been employed at Bullock Garages and as a self-employed carpenter. Survivors include one granddaughter; Brianna Jewell Farley, one brother; Gerald “Jerry” ( Beverlee) Farley, niece and nephews; Sean Farley, Nathan Snapp and Lindsay (Andy) King and his former wife; Lori Webb. He was preceded in death by a son Casey James Farley and his parents. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home.
