Jerald Patrick McClintock "Pops", 63, of Springfield, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on August 29th, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family.
Pat was born on January 17th, 1962, in Springfield, Ohio to Jerry L. McClintock and Ruby Lavonne McClintock where he was a lifelong resident.
Pat graduated from North High School in 1980; in his early years, Pat was a member of a racing team who traveled in the States and abroad for several years racing boats. He went on to work in Manufacturing Supervision for over 40 years. Pat enjoyed spending time coaching little league baseball at Vernon Murphy and later grew to be one of his grandchildren’s biggest fans. So much so, he became known as “The AGENT”.
Pat married his beloved wife, Candi, and together they shared 39 years of love and partnership.
Pat was a loving Pops and Papaw to his family above all. He loved spending time with his children & grandchildren, his greatest treasure.
Those who knew Pat will remember his sense of humor. He made an impact on all who crossed his path, and leaves behind a legacy that will be forever treasured.
Pat is survived by: His wife, Candi McClintock, his children, Carrie (James) Moorman, Matthew Adams, Jesse (Melanie)Adams, Elaina (Duncan) Bradley Jr., and bonus son David (Kristen) Godin.
His brother, Darrin (Terri) McClintock, 2 nephews, Jake Bowsier, Jared McClintock and 1 great nephew, Leon McClintock.
A special brother in law, Steven (Julie) Snow, 2 nieces, Shannan (Eric) Hardenburger &
Kelsey(Josh) Solts, 2 great nieces, Jessa & Kenna Hardenburger and 1 great nephew, River Solts.
Grandchildren, De’Michael (Ayana) Bradley, Da’Sean Bradley, Tyrus (Alexis) Adams, Baylee (Jacob) Adams Martin, Joseph (Marissa) Moorman, Lucian Moorman, Bryna Adams, Delian Bradley, Sydney Adams, Daylen Bradley, Duncan Bradley III, Caitlyn Moorman.
Pat was blessed to have 6 great grandchildren, Willa Martin, Naya Hargrove, DaMarion Bradley, Amias Bradley, Sevin Duncan Bradley, and Draycen Bradley.
A special cousin, Tim (Terri) McClintock, Special Aunts & Uncle, Aunt Lois Scott, & Aunt Janice (Jerry) Neal.
Bonus Daughter, Megan (Josh) Phipps, bonus Grandchildren, Lyric (Jeremy) McDonough, Lahna (Matthew) McDonough, Allison Petticrew, Kadence Phipps, & Kyleen Phipps.
Longtime friends Lee Rust, Bob (Jane)Martineau and Charlie (Jan)Loudermilk and many dear friends and extended family who are extremely loved and supportive.
Pat was preceded in death by his father, Jerry McClintock, his mother, Lavonne Turner, maternal grandparents, Brack & Goldie Turner and paternal grandparents, William Eugene and Ethel (Burt) McClintock.
A gathering will be held on September 14th, 2025, from 2- 4 p.m. at Jones-Kenney- Zechman Funeral Home located at 1002 East High St. Springfield, Ohio 45505.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Dayton, Ohio, or Vernon Murphy Association, in Pat’s memory.
