Jim D. Williams Jr.

     Jim D. Williams Jr., 38, of Springfield, passed away July 12, 2024, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born January 8, 1986, in Springfield, the son of Jim D. Williams Sr. and Tracy (Shirk) Kunkle. Jim enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing, his reptiles and being outdoors. He had been employed at Martin Painting in Columbus. Survivors include his mother; Tracy (Don) Kunkle, two children; Isabelle Nichole Williams and Wyatt Oren Williams, brother; Chad (Brittany) Kunkle, maternal grandparents Jerry and Georgeanna Shirk, paternal grandparents Lee and Joyce McMurray and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Jim was preceded in death by his father; Jim D. Willaims Sr. and his father’s parents; Manford and Myrtle Williams. At Jim’s request a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
