John E. “Sonny” Grewell Jr., 67, of Springfield, passed away March 30, 2020 in Springfield Manor. He was born February 16, 1953 in Springfield, the son of John and Roselyn M (Gilersleeve) Grewell Sr. Mr. Grewell was an avid train collector. He would spend hours working with his train sets and also enjoyed watching trains from his car. Survivors include nieces and nephews; Lori (Duane) Fecke, Carolyn (Gary ) Crable, Tom (Danielle) Bartley and Joe
Bartley and many great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings; Sandy Bartley and Larry Case and his parents. Due to the COVID 19 restrictions, private services will be held with Chaplin Pam Gaylor officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
