John Monroe Hensley

John Monroe Hensley, 54, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1971 in Springfield, the son of Granville and Bonnie (Boisel) Hensley. John graduated from Springfield North High School. He worked at Western Car Wash from 1991 until their closure in February 2025. He enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels and anything to do with cars. Survivors include his sister, Joanie Rawlins; nephews, Scott, Matt, and Jakob Rawlins; very special cousin, Sherri Bolton; and his beloved dogs, Lady and Sophie. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Hensley, and his parents. A celebration of John’s life will be held from 1-3 pm on Saturday July 19, 2025 in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
