Johnnie E. (Jones) Ford

Johnnie E. Ford, 73, of Springfield, passed away August 26, 2025 at Good Shepherd Village. She was born August 2, 1952 in Dayton, Tennessee, daughter of the late John and Edna (Tally) Jones. Johnnie worked in food service for many years at multiple places, including Oakwood Village for nearly 20 years and Good Shepherd Village. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Springfield. Survivors include two sons, John Christopher (Lynna) Ford and Robert Edison “Eddie” Ford; grandchildren, Chris Cornelison, Cody Jessee, Destiny Ford, and Faith Ford; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Everlee, Brayden, Kaisley, and Paisley; and a host of other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John Calvin Ford, on August 5, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Tuesday with services beginning at 7:00 pm at the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Pastor Michael Stough will officiate.
