Joseph Colon

Joseph Colon, 74, of Bellefontaine, passed away November 3, 2020 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born December 22, 1945 in Honolulu, Hawaii, son of the late Joseph and Laura (Carreiro) Colon. Joseph was a wonderful cook and had worked as a chef in many fine restaurants. Survivors include his loving wife, Ellen Melinda (Miranda) Colon, married May 1, 1998; daughter, Valerie (Jeff) Moore; step-daughter, Joy (Michael) Jefferson; three grandchildren; sisters, Lovina Martinez, Lucille Castillo, and Toni Sayers, all of California; and his beloved cat, Spoot. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
