Joyce Frances Hurst

              Joyce Frances Hurst, 74, of Springfield, passed away March 20, 2020 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born December 28, 1945 in Springfield, the daughter of James E. and Margaret Elizabeth (Brown) Hurst. Joyce enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She had been employed at Community Hospital as a surgical clerk for 30 years. Survivors include two children; Shane (Melissa) Hurst and Robert (Heather) Hurst, grandchildren; Sarah (Jonathon), Rachael (Joe), Douglas, Dakota, Destiny, Michael Caitlyn, Cheyanne, Brittany, Victoria and Georgia, great grandchildren; Bryanna, Nicholas, T. J. , William, Collin, Emmy, Grayson, and Westley, two sisters; Patricia Hurst and Mary Binegar and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving companion of many years; Harry E. Kautz and her parents. A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at a later date.
