Judith "Judy" L. Channell Bexfield

Judith (Judy) L. Channell Bexfield passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1962.

Her loyalty and dedication to her family were unmatched. She faced many challenges with remarkable strength. Judy’s greatest joy in life was her family. Beyond her love for family, she was a lover of all sports, often planning her day around their schedules. She was a huge fan of Ohio State, Notre Dame, Cincinnati Bengals and Reds, NASCAR, and her “boyfriends” Jeff Gordon and Tom Brady.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jack and Bette Hubbert, and by the love of her life and father of her children, Phil Channell. After Phil’s passing, the second chapter of her life brought her a special love with her husband, Rick Bexfield; her youngest daughter, Robin Elizabeth, who was an enormous part of her heart; her brother-in-law, Donnie Schneider; and her nephew, Jeff Schneider. 

Judy is survived by her sister, Patty Schneider; her children, Julie Tuttle, Tricia Grant, and Patrick Channell; her grandchildren, Jessica (Trent) Coffman, Morgan Johnson, Taylor (Cody) Bishop, Elizabeth Weaver, and Gunner (Brooke) Weaver; her great- grandchildren, Landry, Aria, Channing, Kohen, Paxson, Rowan, Sylas, Vivienne, and Lyla.

We want to thank Ohio Valley Hospice, Cassidy Archbold, Bobbie Stoll, Carly Harper, Jamie Zirkle, Chip Ray, Kim Frazier, and Eric and Jackie Latham for the loving care they showed our family.

Those we love, don’t go away. They walk beside us every day, unseen unheard.

We will celebrate her life each day and the loyalty, strength, and resiliency she has shown will live on in us forever.
