Karl Roger Black, 66, of Springfield, passed away November 8, 2021 at Allen View Healthcare Center. He was born October 18, 1955 in Springfield, son of the late Raymond T. and Marjorie (Fields) Black. Mr. Black was retired from Rose City Manufacturing, where he had worked as a machine operator. He loved NASCAR and football and was a member of the DIFOMN group. Survivors include his wife, Vicki (Blankenship) Black; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Joseph) Lapp; grandchildren, Tara McKean, Tessa McCluskey, David Ryan McCluskey, Summer McCluskey, and Joey Lapp; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Aiden, Austin, Avery, and Alex; brothers, Raymond G. (Karen Sue) Black, Jr. and Gary H. (Rose) Black; and nieces, Angie Myers and Tina Black. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, November 27 at Calvary Cemetery.
