Katherine ("Kathy") Bowshier

Katherine, “Kathy” Bowshier, was born January 17th, 1959, to Jean S. Cooper in Ironton Ohio. She enjoyed playing poker with her grandkids, going to bingo with her family and she adored her dog Annie. She loved spending time with her kids, she enjoyed scary movies, and her favorite color was purple. Kathy was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Michael Jackson..Children include Mandy Reed, Justin (Krista) Bowshier, Jennifer Bowshier and Kayla (Jordan) Reed of Springfield. One brother, Tim (Denise) Cooper, Grandkids include Devin, Aaron, Darious, Daysha, Liberty, Camdyn, great grandson Juliah, Jaswan, Corrisa, J’Sean and Hayley. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathy is proceeded in death by her mother and father, Will and Jean Cooper, biological father Ralph, her grandson Bryce Bowshier as well as a special family member, Brooke who Kathy often talked about. Kathy loved her kids and grandkids with everything in her and they are all she talked about. She had a huge heart, and nobody went without around her. She was an incredibly strong woman all around and she didn’t go down without a fight. She will be remembered for her humor and heart and will be deeply missed. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Kathy’s life will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
