Kirk Douglas Arthur, a devoted soulmate, best friend, and family man, left a lasting legacy of love, kindness, and faith. He is survived by his soulmate and best friend, Lakie Grigsby; son Lewis Arthur; (Marisa). brothers Lee Skelton, William D Arthur, Roger Skelton, and Robbie Skelton; sisters Brenda Howard, Yvette Young, and Yolanda Heavern
Kirk spent many years working as a bricklayer alongside his father and grandfather, building a strong foundation of family tradition and hard work.
His passions extended far beyond his work, as he found joy in fishing, often visiting the lake on a weekly basis. His heart was filled with compassion, and he frequently showed his love for his community by mowing grass for his elderly neighbors.
Family was at the core of Kirk's being, and he cherished visits with his loved ones in Ohio. He enjoyed the beauty of God's creation, often taking drives to view the scenery.
In 2018, Kirk's life was forever changed when he gave his heart to Jesus, sparking a deep devotion to his faith. He became a powerful witness for Jesus, using his anointed talent to sing the songs of Zion.
A vital part of Kirk's spiritual journey was his fellowship with fellow believers at The Worship Center Church, where he actively worshipped until health challenges forced him to become homebound.
Worshiping with other Christians brought him joy, and he deeply cherished these moments of praise and worship.
Kirk's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and kindness. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
