Kyle Ellis, a cherished family man and beloved member of the Springfield and Urbana communities, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on January 15, 1959, in Springfield, Ohio, Kyle's adventurous spirit and warm heart touched the lives of all who knew him.
Kyle grew up in a close-knit family and carried those values of love and loyalty throughout his life. He was a proud brother to Gordon (Donna) Ellis and Tracey Hughes. His joy was multiplied with the birth of his niece, Knydle Renee Ellis, whom he adored. Kyle was predeceased by his father, Ray Leonard Ellis, and his mother, Ruth Maxine (Gordon) Ellis, who instilled in him the virtues of kindness and courage.
An active and engaged member of his community, Kyle was a dedicated Union Club Member and an Eagles Member, where he forged many lifelong friendships. His commitment to these organizations reflected his unwavering support for his fellow members and his belief in the power of unity and camaraderie.
Kyle's adventurous nature was evident in all his endeavors. He approached life with a zest that was contagious, inspiring others to seek joy in their own lives. His legacy is one of laughter, resilience, and an unshakeable commitment to those he held dear.
As we bid farewell to Kyle, we remember a life lived to the fullest, marked by adventure, friendship, and love. His memory will continue to be a beacon of light for his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. Kyle Ellis will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will remain with us always. Kyle's wish was to be cremated. There are no services scheduled at this time.
