Larry Jr. Blevins, born on October 30, 1954, in Paintsville, Kentucky, was unexpectedly taken from us on August 22, 2024, in Springfield, Ohio. Larry had a deep passion for the outdoors and classic cars, which brought him immense joy and fulfillment. His warm spirit and generous heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Larry was married to Vicki Blevins for 50 years and is survived by his beloved daughters, Andee (and her husband Troy) and Jaimee (and her husband Chris). He took great pride in his grandsons: C.J. Starr (and his wife Shelby), Ethan Circle (and his partner Haley), Austin Starr (and his partner Tabby), Avery Circle (and his wife Haylee), and Zack Starr. He is also survived by his mother, Eula Faye Blevins; his sister, Lisa Massie (and her husband Shawn); his sister-in-law Bonnie Blevins; and his nephews Kurtis (and his wife Melissa) and Brian (and his wife Renee), as well as nieces Julie (and her husband Joe), Karin (and her husband David), Caitlin (and her husband Zach), and Courtney (and fiancé Akshay). Additionally, he leaves behind many great-nieces and great-nephews whom he cherished dearly: Allie, Clayton, Cole, Colton, Dakota, Dylan, Eli, Evelyn, Jake, Jessi, McKenzie, Myles, Nolan, Taylor, Waylon, Wyatt, and Zachariah. Larry also had special “grandchildren” in Allie and Joe Emory, Caden and Brody Freeze, and Maddy and Mitchell Emory. Larry was predeceased by his father, Elias Blevins; his brother, David Blevins; and his sister, Mary Fox. In accordance with Larry’s wishes, there will be no public services. His immediate family will hold a private ceremony to spread his ashes on the family property. A celebration of his life will be organized at a later date, with details to follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Condolences may be shared with Larry’s family by visiting www.jkzfh.com.
