Larry Green Robinson, 73, of South Charleston, passed away July 22, 2025, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 5, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of James and Edna (Vann) Robinson. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, classic cars, Alabama football, coaching different sports, and mentoring future electricians. Larry was the owner of Robinson Electric from 1980 until his retirement in 2023, turning over the business to his son. Larry coached little league baseball in West Chester, Ohio, and South Charleston, Ohio, for many years. He had also coached Acme baseball for Southeastern High School and had been the assistant Men's varsity soccer coach at Southeastern High School for several years. He was a stern but caring and loving man who would drop everything to help those in need. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; Denise (Mansfield) Robinson; two sons, Adam (Stephanie) Robinson and Mathew (Allison) Robinson; three grandchildren, Makayla Robinson, Ayden Robinson, and Wyatt Robinson; siblings, Delbert (Julie) Robinson and Sonja (David) Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, B.J. Vann, James Robinson, Ruth Wilson, Gary Robinson, and Walter Robinson; special aunt, Delia Robinson; and his in-laws, Don and Mary Mansfield. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday, August 2nd, in the Saint Charles Catholic Church Hall, 32 South Williams Street, South Charleston, Ohio, with calling hours from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm and a short service in the hall to follow. Burial will be at a later date. His family would like to give special thanks to Cherish Hospice for all of their kindness, compassion, and care.
