Linda Sue Durst

Linda Sue Durst, 73, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2025 in her home. She was born July 3, 1951, in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, the daughter of Pete and Lucille (McCarty) Durst. Linda enjoyed taking vacations with her loving family and spending time with her many friends and relatives. She had been a loyal employee at Frishes Restaurant for 53 years. Survivors include her children; Drema (Scott) Catanzaro, Tony (Lisa) King and Sherry (Ray) Foulke, grandchildren; Mercedes Catanzaro (Marcus Schutte), Christopher (Natalie) Catanzaro, Ray Foulke, Tyler (Felicia) Foulke, Emily Foulke, Samantha (James) Boswell, Chelsea (Kurt) Firanski, great grandchildren; Wyatt Forshey, Aleigha Forshey, Eli Foulke, Julie Foulke, Dalton King, Dakota King, Kenna Firanski and Harper Firanski, siblings; Vickie Smith, Roger (Linda) Durst and Tanya Durst, many nieces and nephews and very dear friend; Patty Walker. She was preceded in death by siblings; Gretta Scott, Okey Durst, Peggy Durst, Robert Durst, Keith Durst, Larry Durst, James Durst, Randal Durst, Shirley Durst and Dottie Durst and her parents. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Linda’s life will be held from 2:00PM until 5:00PM Sunday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
