Linda Lou Gillespie

Linda Lou Gillespie, 68, of Springfield, passed away December 29, 2020 at Springfield Regional Hospital. She was born on April 23, 1952 in Kentucky, the daughter of Marvin and Ruby Eloise (Flannery) Ferguson. Linda was the owner of Clean Sweep Cleaning Service. She was an animal lover and always there to help anybody who needed it. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Tommy Cooley of Moraine; sister, Brenda St. John; brother, Ricky (Cathy) Ferguson; and several nieces and nephews, including special nephew and caregiver, David. She was preceded in death by sister, Tammy Venrick, and by her parents. A private celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a later date.
