Lorie Lee Allen

        Lorie Lee Allen, 60, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 7, 1966 in Springfield, the daughter of Bennie and Gloria (Gillespie) French.

        Survivors include four children, Paul (Lindsay) DeWell, Hannah (Kyle) Middleton, Nicholas Birt, and Jeffrey Allen; 15 grandchildren, Brianna, Tyren, Nevaeh, Adarius, Breven, Paul Jr, Amiyah, Carter, Anthony, Peyton, Abel, Mikey, Charlee, Kash, and Bella; four great-grandchildren, Ivy, Ty’Air, Na’Lani, and Asya; siblings, Angie, Missy, and Jr; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by daughter, Natalie DeWell, and her parents, Bennie and Gloria French.

        Lorie loved to be on the road for a “doobie cruise.” She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

        Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm Saturday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. A service will follow at 4:00 pm with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Condolences may be shared online at www.jkzfh.com.
