Luana L. Rollins

Luana L. Rollins, 83, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2023 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born October 17, 1939 in Springfield, the daughter of Roy C. and Pauline (Hines) Rapp. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Survivors include two children, Cathy L. (Jeffrey) Massie, Sr. and Roy E. (Debbie) Rollins; three grandchildren, Harley (Tarence) Lambert, Taylor (Logan) Stevens, and RJ (Shelby) Rollins, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Eli Stevens and Emberliegh Rollins; Aunt Jo; special niece, Lori Myers; two special friends, Barb and Betty; and several generations of nieces and nephews. Luana was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Rollins, Sr.; daughter, Barbara L. Rollins; son, George “Duke” Rollins; brother, Otis Rapp; and her parents, Roy C. and Pauline Rapp. A celebration of Luana’s life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday in the Lil’ Country Church, 5020 Old Columbus Rd.
