Mabel "Yvonne" (Hostetter) Cardosi

Mabel “Yvonne” Hostetter Cardosi, 75, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 15, 2025 with her loved ones by her side. She was born September 24, 1949 in Athens, Ohio, the daughter of Olen Dewy and Mary Francis (Bahr) Hostetter. Yvonne had worked in housekeeping at Southbrook Care Center for many years. She loved animals, enjoyed reading romance novels, going to bingo, long baths, eating her sweet treats, and watching her favorite shows. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Eugene Cardosi; daughters, Linda Lee Cardosi Hunt and Tammy Marie Cardosi; sisters, Oneta L. Hostetter, Sandra June Hostetter Gillespie, and Gloria Dee Hostetter Delawder; brothers, Gary Olen Hostetter and Dennis Sheradian Hostetter; and her parents. Survivors include her son, Lawrence (Yolande) Cardosi; sister, Kathy Hostetter Cardosi; brother, Clifford Young; brother-in-law, Larry “Butch” Delawder, Sr.; grandchildren, Walter (Kelly) Bostic II, Justin Bostic, Yvonne (Zach) Hess, Lisa Bostic, Cheyenne Grimm, Chelsey Grimm, Kierstne Cardosi, Lawrence Cardosi III,Tierrah (Michael) Clark, and Faith Shazier Cardosi; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and extended family, Billy and Danielle Reffett. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Friday with services starting at 7:00 pm at the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
