Mary Lee (McCarthy/Oren) Klontz, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by family members on September 20, 2024. Mary Lee was born to Daniel & Eleanor McCarthy in Springfield, Ohio, on May 30, 1931. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going shopping, having cookouts and family gatherings. Buying Christmas and Birthday gifts for everyone; gifts that may not always fit or match, but she knew everyone would have a gift. Mary is survived by her sister; Norma, children; Cheryl Jones, Veronda (Drexal) Oren, Edward (Tresa) Oren, Daniel (Latasha) Klontz, Denise (Tim) Cooper and Paula Seevers, grandchildren; Jake (Beth) Cooper, Jeremy Cooper, Jeffrey (Darylanna) Cooper, Jade Cooper, Ashlei Klontz, Daniel (Paige) Klontz, Jacob (Chelsea) Klontz, Elijah Klontz, Aaron Heskett, Leanna Heskett, Eric (Jamie) Heskett, Ryan (Laura) Oren, Rachel (Chelsea) Oren, David Mingee, Dustin (Savanah) Mingee, Billy (Chris) Flack, Jason Shaw, David (Nikki) Hall, Marshal (Cassie) Hall, Casey (Colby) Goodridge, Lisa Seevers, Lori Seevers, Dennis Seevers, James Seevers, Cathy Jones, Glenna Cunningham and Kristy Jones, 74 great-grandchildren and 34 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Teddy Klontz, her brother, Joseph McCarthy, son, Michael Oren and great-grandson Joshua Tackett. Everyone was family to Mary Lee. She was proud to be the longest resident in the Wheldon Park neighborhood. The family would like to thank, special little caregiver, Paisley. A visitation for friends and family will be held at the Funeral Home, Thursday, September 26th, 2024, from 6-8pm. A funeral will be held Friday, September 27th, 2024, at 930am with a burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mechanicsburg following the service.
