Mary Jane Martin-Warren, 85, of Springfield, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, May 29, 2023, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born November 30, 1937, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Charles and Edith K. (Smith) McCutcheon. Mrs. Martin-Warren had been a very active and devoted member of the First Church of the Open Bible since January 13, 1973, where she taught Sunday School for the special needs children and played the organ. Mary Jane was a pastor’s wife for 40 plus years which involved many other duties. She had been employed as a special needs school teacher for many years. Survivors include five children; Kathy Stewart, James R. (Susan) Martin, Fred E. (Lynn) Martin, Jayne (Brian) Riley and Mindy (Pastor James) Ballard, grandchildren; Todd (Krista) Pease, Ciara (Christian) Walton, Rick Clay, Fred (Jennifer) Martin, Amber Martin, Lexi Martin, James Robert Martin, Sarah Martin, James Ballard, Jayne Mae Ballard, Jeremy Ballard, Jacob Ballard, Kaitlyn (Ian) Thompson, Kierstin Riley, Kaylee Riley and Karah Riley, many great grandchildren, siblings; Elsie (Les) Rubinstein, Charles E. (Laura) McCutcheon and Lillian Rayer and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands; Pastor James Robert Martin and George Warren, a grandson; Justin Clay, a stepsister; Jean Austin and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, June 5, 2023 in the First Church of the Open Bible, 644 Selma Road, Springfield with Pastor James Ballard officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
