Matthew L. Ray

     Matthew L, Ray, 57, of Springfield, passed away May 20, 2026, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born August 14, 1968, in Springfield, the son of Ruby Harmon and Lowell Turner. Mr. Ray attended the First Pentecostal Church of God. He enjoyed listening to the Bible and fishing. Survivors include three sisters; Tonya (John) Hill, Laura (Robert) Carter and Melissa Ray, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends including Daniel, Julie, Sabrina and Christine. He was preceded in death by a brother; Brian Harmon and his parents. A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
