Maxine Diane (Tackett) Moore

Maxine Diane Moore, 60, of Springfield, went home to be with her Lord on December 26, 2024, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born April 13, 1964, in Wickenburg, Arizona, the daughter of Charles and Martha Lou (Vaughn) Tackett. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Full Gospel Community Church. She was very active with the Limecrest Ark and had been the chaplain at Shawnee High School. Over the years she provided loving care to many children in our community. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years; Raymond A. Moore, four children; Olivia (Jacob) Williams, Matthew (Brittany) Moore, Rachael Bird and Thomas Moore, grandchildren; Michael Delong, Jasper Logan, Lily Bird, Leo Bird, Lynnox Bird, Whitley Moore, Wyndolyn Moore, Weslyn Moore, Russell Moore and Wrenna Moore, siblings; Kathleen Tackett, Tina (Mike) Holloway and Thomas (Jackie) Fields, nephew; Paul Brown, great nephew; Blake Brown, special friends; Naomi Smith and Lolita Miller and many other nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Willow Moore, a brother; Dave Fields, sisters; Shirley O’Neil, Sheila Flick and Roberta Brown, sister-in-law; Gale Brown and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday in the United Holiness Church, 436 Lyle Avenue, Springfield, with Pastor Glenn McIntosh officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the services in the church. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
