Carr, Michael Daniel 

67, of Springfield, passed away Thursday May 14, 2026, in Allen View Care Center following months of failing health. He was born December 25, 1958, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Marion Carr and Sylvia (West) Carr. Michael worked and retired from Kaycan after several years of employment. He loved fishing and cruising around just enjoying life. He leaves to cherish his daughter Sheri (James) Stiles, son Jesse Carr, stepdaughter Jennifer Dodd and Cortney, stepsons Daniel and Chris. He has seven grandchildren James Jr, Jordan, Savannah, Brandon, Austin, Aliyah, and Robbie. Sisters Diana (Neal) Hiestand, Penny Hobson, Kim Chamberlin and Mary Collins, brother Brian Bilkey and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Marvin D Carr. We would like to thank Daycity Hospice for their wonderful care. The family will be holding a memorial to celebrate him on Sunday May 24th from 2-5 at old reid park shelter house there will be signs. Also, if you would like to bring a covered dish that is fine we all know he loved food. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
