Michael Lee Oren

Michael Lee Oren, 72, of Springfield, passed away August 17, 2024 at Southbrook Healthcare Center. He was born in Springfield on August 2, 1952. Michael loved watching Ohio State football, and he was a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan. Survivors include his mother, Mary Lee (McCarthy) Klontz; sons, Billy Flack and Jason Shaw; stepsons, David (Nikki) Hall and Marshall (Cassandra) Hall; stepdaughter, Casey (Colby) Goodridge; brothers, Ed (Tresa) Oren and Dan (Latasha) Klontz; sisters, Cheryl Jones, Veronda (Drexal) Oren, and Denise (Tim) Cooper; stepsisters, Paula Seevers, Leisa Magaw, and Lynne Magaw; stepbrother, Doug Magaw; lifelong friends, Honde (Susan) Joseph and Jimmy Sanders; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family members; and many lifetime friends from Wheldon Park. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Terri Hall; his stepfather and best friend, Ted Klontz; father, Silas Oren; stepmother, Carol Magaw; stepbrother, Robert Magaw; and several lifetime friends from Wheldon Park. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday in the funeral home.
