Nina Ann Shaffer

Nina Ann Shaffer, 75, passed away at Springfield Regional Medical Center on September 4, 2024. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, to Rolland and Pauline (Green) Burry on July 17, 1949. Nina is a retired machine operator, lover of Bingo, collector of Longaberger Baskets, a huge Reds fan and absolutely loved cooking and crocheting. She was loved by all her many friends and appreciated by all who met her; a fun-loving, hardworking woman. Nina is survived by her loving husband, Larry Shaffer, her children; Jarrod and Jeffery Shaffer; and her grandchild, Lucas Shaffer, three brothers; Donald Burry, Emmett Burry and William Givens and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME on September 10th, 2024, from 5-8PM. Services will be at 11AM on September 11, 2024 with Pastor Scott Barger officiating.
