Pamela Norman

Grammy Pammy Norman (nee Beck), 79, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, in her hometown. Born on October 4, 1946, in Columbus, she spent her life surrounded by the people and traditions she cherished most.

Pam was a woman who lived with an open heart and a sharp mind. She has a remarkable ability to make those around her feel loved and appreciated, often through her thoughtful gift-giving. She shopped year-round to find the perfect presents for her family and friends, ensuring that each gift reflected how much she cared. Her generosity extended beyond material things; she gave her time laughter, and unwavering support to those she held dear.

For nearly 40 years, Pam shared a life filled with humor and hoy with her husband, Tim Norman. Their off-the-cuff humor brought endless laughter into their home. Pam also treasured the holidays as opportunities to gather with family and friends—both biological and chosen. Her love for tradition was evident in the special touches she brought to every celebration. From apricot Jell-O at holiday meals to Grandma Beck’s nut bread on Christmas morning, Pam ensured these customs were lovingly preserved. She entered the title of “Stocking Suffer Queen,” always filling stockings with care and creativity.

Pam’s circle of love extended far and wide. She formed a close bond with her ex-husband’s wife, who became one of her dearest friends—a testament to Pam’s ability to embrace others with warmth and kindness.

Known for her lively spirit and sharp intellect, Pam enjoyed engaging in political debates where her impeccable memory often gave her the upper hand. She was determined and passionate in all aspects in life, never backing down from a challenge while maintaining a sense of fun and good humor.

Pam is survived by her devoted husband, Tim Norman; her loving daughter Kim Moldovan; and her cherished step-children Melissa Yourkivch, Sarah Gartin, Andy Norman; grand children Mason Moldovan, and Molly Moldovan. She was predeceased by her beloved son Rob Horn and her parents Connie and Virginia Beck.

As those who knew Pam reflect on her life, they can imagine her now sipping on eggnog latte while enjoying a beautiful view—fitting image for someone who brought so much light into the lives of others.
