Paul Wroblewski Obituary

Paul Alexander Wroblewski, 79 of New Carlisle, passed away May 14th, 2026. Born, February 20, 1947, and raised in Tonawanda, NY. Son of Chester Paul Wroblewski and Elenor Marie Wroblewski (Ozimek). He graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School and attended Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. He furthered his education, earning his degree in electrical engineering at the University of Detroit. Later in life, he received his masters degree from the University of Dayton. He spent almost 36 years working at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Aside from an accomplished professional life, he spent his time with family and friends: playing cards, skiing, cycling, and fishing. He took great pride in attending his children and grandchildren’s sporting events. His way of thinking meant there were no scraps: he saved everything, including his 1962 Triumph TR3. In addition to reconstructing his car, he knew how to fix anything and everything: his engineer’s brain did not stop. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Parks. He is survived by his wife Karen Wroblewski, daughter Megan (David) Snapp, daughter Amanda (Jason) Sherrock, granddaughter Britney Snapp, grandson Dillon Snapp, and beloved cat, Lucy. The visitation is Thursday, May 28th at Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home (Springfield) from 5-8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. May 29th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (New Carlisle). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Condolences may be shared online at www.jkzfh.com.
