Peggy Sue Gibson

Peggy Sue Gibson, 62, of Springfield, Ohio unexpectedly departed from her family on Monday, May 8, 2023 in her residence. She was born on August 8, 1960 in Springfield, Ohio to James Wesley Wright and Sandra Lou (Smith) Tochelli. Peggy worked at Drackett in Urbana, Ohio for many years, and then she transferred to Wisconsin when S.C. Johnson Wax bought Drackett out. She worked at S.C. Johnson Wax for a few years until she missed her family and moved back to Ohio. Survivors include her soulmate of 47 years, Jack A. Gibson; her brother, Terry L. Wright; her daughters, Amanda S. Miller and Nikki N. Gibson; her grandchildren, Brooklyn N. Miller (Jake McClanahan), Wesley A. Miller (Jessie), Danielle R. Miller (Tyler Riley), Taylor Gibson, Michaela Hazel, Amonte Allen, Amari Allen, Mason Weatherly, Willie Weatherly, TraVaughn Myers, Iesha Myers; great-grandchildren, Ceaira Lowe, Cayden Lowe, Grayson Carter, Caleigha Miller, Lukas Miller, Leland Bidwell, Clayton Miller, Kizer Riley; and numerous extended family and friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Sandy; father-in-law, Chester Gibson; her brothers, Jimmy Dale, John, and Lonnie Wright; her daughter, Joy Gibson; and two granddaughters, Ceairee Wright and Precious Gibson. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. A brief service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Costy Saba officiating.
