Penny J. (Beekman) Parrett

Penny J. Parrett, 62, of South Charleston passed away on February 17, 2025. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on January 25, 1963 to the late Larry and Mary Beekman.

She never met a stranger and spread kindness everywhere she went. She was passionate about caring for others. She studied to be a medical technician and worked as an in-home caregiver for a number of years. She loved animals of all kinds and had more than 30 dogs, cats, guinea pigs, gerbils and fish throughout her life.

She will be dearly missed by her two sons: Chad and Justin (Kelly) Parrett; siblings: Jan (Mic) Daulton, Patty (Greg) Aebker and Andy Beekman; nieces and nephews: Eric and Ryan (Megan) Daulton, Kayne, Karyss and Kendell Beekman and Ella Aebker; great-nephew, Aiden Daulton and great-niece, Anna Daulton; her dog, Buddy and her cat, Willow.
