Phillip E. Murray

Phillip E. Murray, 80, of Springfield, Ohio, went home to be with his lord and savior Jesus Christ in his home surrounded by his loving family on May 14, 2025. He was born June 15, 1944 in Johnson County, Kentucky to the late Elbert and Oma (Salyer) Murray. He served in the US Army from 1963 to 1966. He retired from Navistar after 34 years and continued working for years at McDonalds. Phillip enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted member and deacon of the Springfield Enterprise Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Eric (Lisa) Murray; granddaughter, Jennifer (Brandon Caffee) Murray; great-granddaughter, Hannah Caffee; great-grandson, Bradley Caffee; and one brother, Troy Ray Murray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judith Murray; twelve siblings; and grandson, Jessey Murray. No funeral services are planned at this time, but there will be a family gathering at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
