Queen Traylor Obituary

Queen Victoria (Ramson) Traylor, 89, peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on December 10, 2025, at her home, surrounded by the love of her devoted family. Born on September 15, 1936, in Rebecca, Georgia, she was the cherished daughter of the late Eddie Ramson and Agnes Beatrice Smith-Ramson. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Mary (Carlos) Decimus and was preceded in death by her siblings Eddie Ramson Jr., Gwendlyn Tookes, Arthur Lee Ramson, Martha Cole, and Roosevelt Ramson Sr.

Queen pursued her lifelong passion for beauty by graduating from Carousel Beauty College in Springfield, Ohio, becoming a licensed cosmetologist, before retiring with distinction from KeyBank, where she dedicated decades of service, earning respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike. Beyond her professional achievements, Queen’s heart and hands were always at work in service to her community, including her dedicated support of the Sickle Cell Disease Association.

A woman of unshakable faith, grace, and strength, Queen devoted her life to glorifying God and nurturing her family. She took immense pride in her children and grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments, encouraging their dreams, and guiding them with a blend of wisdom, love, and unwavering faith.

Queen was the beloved mother of Debra (Sally) Ramson, Jerl Traylor, Pastor Latondra (Craig) Leslie, Theodore (Stephanie) Traylor III, and Thaddeus (Vada) Traylor. She was preceded in death by her cherished children Angela Esterlita Traylor and Mary L. Traylor, as well as her precious grandson William Michael Traylor. She also leaves a legacy of numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, each blessed by her love, guidance, and inspiration.

Queen shared a special bond with her family in worship, Wanda Stewart, Patricia Wood-Smith, Timothy (Quila) Tyler Sr, and Pastor Mark (Bonita) Tyler, whose friendship, love, and spiritual fellowship brought joy and comfort to her life. She faithfully served as Treasurer at the Church of Hope in Springfield, Ohio, where her dedication, stewardship, and care were treasured by all.

To her family, Queen was more than a mother or grandmother—she was the cornerstone of their lives. She was the prayer warrior, the wise counselor, the voice of calm reassurance, and the warm embrace in times of need. Her home was a sanctuary of laughter, gospel music, and unconditional love—a reflection of the incredible woman she was.

Queen Victoria Traylor leaves behind a legacy of faith, perseverance, love, and inspiration. Her memory will forever shine in the hearts of her family, her church, and all whose lives she touched. She now rests in the loving arms of her Savior.
