Rachel Anne Skabla, aged 37, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, in the same town where she first saw the world on July 3, 1987. Rachel's journey through life was marked by her vibrant love for her family, her passion for the Bohemian lifestyle, and her free-spirited approach to every day. The daughter of Bonnie (Bayne) Skabla and late Vincent Skabla, Rachel was a beacon of light. She grew up in a household alongside her sisters, Stephanie Kinard, Sandra Cochran, Alisha McClain, and Amber McClain. Rachel's greatest pride and joy were her children, Kayla, Rielly, Haley, Jaycob and ZoeRay Hatfield and her grandchild, Kayson Sollars. She instilled in them the courage to dream big and the freedom to explore the world with open hearts and minds. Rachel's legacy will live on through the lives of her daughters, who will carry forward her zest for life and her compassionate spirit. Her love for all things natural was evident in her affinity for flowers and the beauty of the outdoors. Rachel's bohemian spirit was not just a style choice but a true reflection of her belief in living authentically and embracing life's journey with open arms. Rachel's memory will be cherished and celebrated by all who knew her. Her laughter, her warmth, and her unwavering positivity will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rachel Anne Skabla's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, and her story will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be part of it. Arrangements are being made by JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. A gathering of friends and family will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, from 5-7pm. Burial will take place Wednesday, May 28th, 2025, 11am at Rose Hill Burial Park. There will be no procession to the cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
