Ransom Tilton Obituary

 

           Ransom Lee Tilton, 49, of Springfield, passed away February 23, 2021 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born February 6, 1972 in Bartow, Florida, the son of Donna Jean (Tilton) Paul and James Eller. Ransom enjoyed collecting sports cards and fishing. He had been employed at the Western Car and Van Wash for many years. Survivors include his loving wife; Tamara (Shaw) Tilton, his stepfather; Stephen Paul Sr., four children; Anthony Murray, Sarah Murray, Nathaniel (Kaitlin) Tilton and Hannah Tilton, three grandchildren; Scarlett Tilton, Nathaniel Tilton III  and Aceson Tilton and one baby girl granddaughter on the way, one sister; Deborah Bryson (Lamar Baker), one brother; Stephen (Mary) Paul Jr. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, his father and a brother; William Russell Paul. Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM Saturday, March 6, 2021 in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mark Spencer officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00PM until the time of the services. Masks will be required.
