Richard Eugene Armatrout

Richard Eugene Armatrout, 70, of Springfield, passed away November 11, 2021 in his home. He was born July 3, 1951 in Columbus, OH, the son of Raymond E. and Edna M. (Cultice) Armatrout. Survivors include two children, James R. (Kimberly) Good and Patty (Derek) Daniels; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Dot (Dan) Thomas, Adele Siegel, Diane Hilbrink, and Anna (Mike) Hopkins; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet L. Armatrout; daughter, Kimberly Rodgers; and his parents. Mr. Armatrout was a retired U.S. Navy veteran, and a private military burial will take place at Dayton National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday at First Lutheran Church, 30 S. Wittenberg Ave, Springfield. Reception will follow at the church.
