Richard Oneal Fowler, 90, of Springfield, passed away April 8, 2024. He was born January 20, 1934, in Ashland, Kentucky, the son of Rose Lee Camp. Mr. Fowler was a member of the International Pentecostal Church of Christ. He loved spending time with his loving family and his beloved dog. Mr. Fowler was a well-known painting contractor for many years in the Springfield area. He is survived by his wife; Shirley (Rafferty) Fowler and her children; Melanie (Steve) Dulgar, Kent Linson, his three children; Shirley (Douglas) Fick, Richard (Linda) Fowler and Donna (Daniel) Wick. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 44 years; Judith Anne (Crawford) Fowler and they were the parents of five children Also surviving are grandchildren; Michael Fowler Jr., Michael Holmes, Melissa Fick, William Fick, Anthony Fick, Becky (Brad) Stevens, Jessica (Adam) Steele, Ryan (Samantha) Kreitzer, Todd (Renee) Fowler, Troy (Colleen) Fowler, Tara (Matt) Spradlin, Traci (Corey) Kleis, Judith (Alex) Rhinehart, Jaclyn (Casey) Donaldson, Joshua (Alyssa) Wick and Jessica (Graham) Warne, great grandchildren; Hanna (Gerard), Evan (Lexi), Ashley (Cameron), Kaitlyn, Taylor, Adrian, Ethan, Falynn, Alex, Aaliyah, Carter, Addison, Brycen, McKenzie, Olivia, Jackson, Max, Nolan, Finley, Zoe, Nora, Grace, Evelyn, Ruby, Elise, Ella, Griffin, Grayson, Violet, Reese, Logan, Adalyn, Daniel and Trey, great great grandchildren; Chrsitopher, Hazel, Ivan, Colton and Lyla, sisters; Jeannie Dabney and Joie Eagen and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by children; Michael Fowler and Brenda Kreitzer, siblings; Brenda Robinson and Robert Camp and his parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Richard Blevins officiating. Friends may visit with Mr. Fowler’s family for one hour prior to the services in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
