Richard Phillip Hawkins

Richard Phillip Hawkins, 52, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025 in his home. He was born August 31, 1972 in Springfield, the son of Phillip Daniel and Deborah Lotus (Homan) Hawkins. Richard graduated from Greenon High School and then studied graphic arts in college. He loved playing guitar and had a nice collection of them. He always said it wasn’t hoarding if it was guitars. Survivors including his loving wife of six years, Jessica Lynn (Tosi) Hawkins; stepdaughter, Izabelle Tosi-Hall; father, Phillip D. Hawkins; mother, Deborah L. Hawkins; two sisters, Dawn Michelle (Digger) Paul and Elizabeth Marie (Daniel Lee) Sammons; stepmother, Karen (Jeff) Tritle; niece and nephew, Gracee and Kolton Evans; maternal aunt and cousin, Rebecca Singh and Maneesh Singh; and paternal aunt and uncles, Mary Bennett, Greggory Hawkins, Roger Hawkins and Barb, Mike, Michelle and Morgan Murray and Bret & Denise Ingram. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Lillian Hawkins and Richard and Marcia Homan, Don Ingram (Step-Father) and uncle, Art Hawkins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Michael Delledonne officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10-11 am.
