Richard L. Robbins

Richard L. Robbins, 79, of Crystal River, Florida, formerly of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019. He was born September 2, 1939 in Springfield, the son of Charles and Louise Robbins. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had worked at International Harvester for many years. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include two sons, Scott Robbins (Karol Wolfe) of Springfield and Christopher (Stephanie) Robbins of Havelock, NC; numerous grandchildren; two sisters; six brothers; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Robbins; sons, Rich and Todd Robbins; and his parents. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Jake Cultice officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, St. Paris, Ohio.
