Rita L. Welton, 73, of Springfield, passed away March 28, 2020 at Southbrook Care Center. She was born September 28, 1946 in Springfield. Rita is survived by three children, Teresa, John, and Katherine; grandchildren, Monika, Kiyla, Victoria, Ryan, and Lindsey; several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly, Cora, Paulette, and Lana Sue; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Riley and Alberta (Schaffer) Dillon, and by a sister, Brenda. No services are planned at this time.
