Robert Eugene Jones

Robert Eugene Jones, 64, of South Charleston, Ohio, passed away on November 15, 2021 at Springfield Regional Hospital. He was born May 17, 1957 in London, Ohio, the son of Wilbur and Margaret Jones. Robert was an outgoing person who loved to talk and joke around. Nobody was a stranger to him. He had his own special language and could truly find value in anything. He enjoyed being outside, going for walks, traveling, and visiting carnivals. Survivors include five siblings, Jeff (Barbara) Jones of West Virginia, Jerry (Lois) Jones of New York, Jack (Brenda) Jones of London, OH, Gloria Albright of London, OH, and Beverly Church of Kentucky; special niece, Starr Glover; special great-niece, Brianna Glover; special great-nephews, Robert Glover, Jr., Travis Glover, Matthew Glover, and Trent Glover; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Carolyn Whitaker and Donna Pyles; brothers, Thomas Jones, Stephen Jones, Clarence Jones, and John Jones; and his parents. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Nathan Carey officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 pm.
