Robert “Bob” “Moon Man” Louden, Sr., 74, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026 in his home. He was born on March 8, 1952 in Morgantown, West Virginia, the son of Dennis “Eugene” and Ruby (Yeager) Louden. Mr. Louden was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed gardening, Budweiser, and horseshoes. Survivors include his two children, Ruth Louden and Luke Louden; grandchildren, Nathan (Sunny), Malya, Maggie, and Marley; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Gunner, and Henry; significant other, Charity Robinson; siblings, Dee Peck, Rick (Sheila) Louden, Tim Louden, and Minnie Short; mother of his children, Beverly Louden; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by son, Roby Louden; brother, Frank Louden; sister, Rebecca Wells; and his parents. No services are planned at this time.
