She competed in many bowling tournaments in many states. She bowled a 300 in a Florida tournament earning a spotlight on the National Digital Board. Moving to the house on Seminole was one of the best decisions made. The neighbors became best friends, a whole group of family friends formed, many laughs, backyard parties and trips resulted from it. Camping became a huge part of life and many lifelong friends/family formed. Long’s Retreat became a second home and all of the people in it became family. While at Longs, she ran the Holiday Halloween party for many years, the Golf Cart parade, the poker runs and hosted many parties on Margarita Hill. Which was named after them. She was an avid quilter and loved to sew. She was a member of the Holiday RV Resort quilt and embroidery club. She was also a member of the Yacht club. Sandy enjoyed going out on the pontoon with her husband and all of their friends and making the trip to Hurricanes to get Parmesan cheese fries and a Philly Cheese sandwich.  She loved to fish. She was a championship blue gil catcher, even earning  her a fish Ohio pin. She slayed many blue gil and loved to raz her friends when she did. She owned her own embroidery/screen printing business for many years and did a lot of uniforms for the local schools and clubs. She was the founding member of a very special girls club who enjoyed getting together, having cold beverages and laughter. She organized Monday night dinners with friends and was dedicated to making sure they happened. Tuesday family night dinners with her family had become one of her favorite things to look forward to. Sandy was loved by her community and friends and never met a stranger. She loved going shopping, especially to the fabric stores. Even to the end, she was wanting her special shopping buddy, Nancy to take her to Bealls. She kept Jeannie and Taylor hopping and was always ready to get into doing something. Her favorite job was being a wife, a mother and a grandmother.
