Sandra Ella “Sandy” Taylor, 84, of Springfield passed away October 7, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 10, 1941, in Kansas, the daughter of William Howard and Hattie (Sewell) Lemons. Mrs. Taylor was a dedicated member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal ‘Church of God. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting and spending time with her wonderful family. She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 61 years; James “Jim” Taylor, three children; Marsha (Simon) Suver, Steve Brown and Debra “Debbie” (Michael) Breisch, seven grandchildren; Troy Benson, Erik Benson, Colleen (Jamal) Mellouki, Amber Brown, Erica Brown. April Artz and Rachel Hotchkiss, great grandchildren; Olivea, Gabriella, Alex, Layla, Eli, Sarah, Lilly, Teren, Forest, Kaya, Joshua, Daniel and Blake, great great grandchildren; Scottie, Isiah and Israel, nephews; Bruce Chrisitansen, and Curtis (Sandra) Christiansen, niece; Terry Ann Kubiak and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister; Maxine Christiansen and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday in the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church of God, 3318 Dayton Road, Springfield 45506 with Pastor John Rice officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services in the church. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
