Stanley D. Cullum II, 51, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on December 22, 2024, in Villa of Springfield. Stanley was born on November 5, 1973, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Barbara (Gilliland/Cullum) Johnson and Daniel Cullum, Sr. Stan was a special soul who never met a stranger. He would say that he had the gift of gab, and boy did he. This led him down many avenues in life, adding to the countless stories he enjoyed telling. Stan set out each day with a purpose to make someone smile, laugh, or help them out. He had a knack for being able to solve things, it was a puzzle for him and he loved the challenge. Stan enjoyed spending time relaxing by a lake fishing, and he loved anything dealing with Garfield, Big Foot, and Sci-fi. Stan’s main goal was providing for, loving, and spending time with the love of his life, Sondra. Stan was preceded in death by his father, brother Daniel Cullum, maternal grandparents Francis and Jessie Gilliland, paternal grandparents Stanley and Evelyn (Smallwood/Cullum) Pearson, aunts JoAnna (Cullum) Belshe, Patsy Cullum, and stepsister Lucinda “Cindy” Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife Sondra Cullum, mother, brothers James (Monica) Cullum, Michael (Amanda) Cullum, Jeremiah (Catrina) Cullum, stepbrother Rob (Rebecca) Johnson, stepsister Bunny (Larry) Coppock, brother-in-law Roy (Wendy) Harris, sister-in-law Kelly Harris, several aunts, uncles, nieces, great nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held December 27th from 4-7 at Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7pm with pastor Paul Dowdy officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Sondra Cullum to help with funeral expenses. Condolences may be shared with Stan’s family at www.jkzfh.com.
