Tarynn Elisabeth Pruitt

Tarynn Elisabeth Pruitt, 23, of Springfield, passed away November 8, 2023, She was born March 19, 2000, in Fairbanks, Alaska, the daughter of Todd Eugene and Helen (Johnson) Pruitt. Tarynn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and attended the Dayton Young Single Adults (YSA) Branch in Fairborn, OH.  She enjoyed all types of animals, NASCAR racing, singing and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her sister; Tracy Evelyn Pruitt, her grandparents: Odency Jr and Josephine Johnson, Terrance Pruitt, and Brenda Johnson; aunts and uncles:  Jay and Carol Johnson, Doug McDuffey and Janet McDuffey  

She is survived by her parents; Todd and Helen Pruitt; siblings: Zachary Graham Moore (Denise Jimenez-Moore), Nicole Marie Pruitt, Todd Eugene Pruitt II (Christa), Tyler Elasah Pruitt and Tevin Elias Pruitt; aunts and uncles: Glenn Johnson (Mary), Elizabeth Shaw, Vernon Johnson (Sheri), Odency Johnson III (Vanessa), Forrest Johnson (Wyanetta), Annette Branch, Constance “Connie” and James Pruitt, Trent Pruitt, Sharon Kay (Steve) Lambert, Gloria Jane McDuffey, Jack McDuffey, Caroline Branch;  and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints, 4400 Derr Road, Springfield, with Bishop Jordan Houseman officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services in the church. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in Forest Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, Indiana.
