Teresa Ann Welton-Channels

60 of Springfield, Ohio, gained her heavenly wings early in the morning on

Wednesday, 04/22/2026. Always in our hearts and never forgotten! She was a

beautiful, kind, strong, and giving person. She lived her life the way; she wanted

and had no regrets. She understood her daughters more than anyone else. Her

daughters were her world. The grandchildren took over quickly and she loved all

of them. To know her was to love her. We can all agree that we lost a wonderful

person with a caring heart. Teresa left behind to cherish her memories, her

daughters, Monika Channels, Kiyla Channels, Victoria Channels, and her bonus

daughter Johnee’ Humphrey, her brother John Welton and sister Katherine

Welton, Aunt Margaret (Rod) Knight, and her better half who she loved so much,

Richard Kimberline. Her grandchildren Daz’omon Davidson Sr., D’Ajia Monroe,

Ar’Eiynne Channels, Corey Ames Jr., E'Kamion Battle, Angel-Lee Jones, Dorian

Jordan Jr. Raiyne Jones, Kiyziah Pannell, Ka'Vaylah Harris-Belle, Zane Evans, Kylan

Battle, Jarvis Jr., Jah’Air, and Ja’Ryiah. Along with her great grandkids Daz’omon

Davidson Jr., Corey Ames III, Alani Ames, Anari Channels, Lylah Davidson, Kyrie

Davidson, and A’Siah Woodson. A nephew, Ryan Welton and niece Lindsay

Welton. A host of bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alongside her

dear friends Debra Smith, Gail Battle, and Barbara White. A special thanks to her

extended family/friends at Springfield Assisted Living and Ohio’s Hospice. She was

preceded in death by her grandparents, parents that she loved dearly, her aunts,

and her Angel Jayson Storm Davis. Per her wishes cremation has happened and a

Memorial Service will be held on Friday May 1st at 2:00 p.m., at Jones-Kenney-

Zechman Funeral Home, 1002 East High Street Springfield, Ohio 45505. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
