Terri Lorett (Merrill) Hutchins

     It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terri Lorett Hutchins (Merrill) on February 12, 2025. A loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, Terri was born on January 16, 1966, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to Roger and Lora C. Merrill. She grew up alongside her brothers, Roger Merrill Jr. and Craig Merrill, forming bonds that lasted a lifetime.

     She was the proud and devoted mother of Rachel Culp, Tasha Hutchins, and Alyssa Hutchins. Her greatest joy in life came from being a grandmother to ten wonderful grandchildren, each of whom she adored deeply.

     Terri had a passion for creativity, always bringing beauty into the world through her crafting and design. Whether she was decorating her home or building entire virtual worlds in The Sims, her artistic touch was undeniable. She spent many years contributing to the gaming community, designing and creating content for other players to enjoy.

     She was preceded in death by her mother, Lora, and her dear daughter, Tasha. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with them.

     Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Jones, Kenney, Zechman Funeral Home on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 11 AM with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Visiting hours will begin at 9 AM for family and 10 AM for friends.
